So I really want to be able to be a stay at home mommy when my baby comes. But I also want some income to help my boyfriend out. Iv never not worked since I was 15.
So has anyone ever done the babysitting thing while having a newborn?
Iv baby sat before but not after having a baby so I just wanted some advice on that. And obviously I wouldn't start it until after 6weeks of me and baby time but it is just a thought
Also my boyfriend has three other kids that stay with us every other weekend for now until summer and they are 10,9,7 so they will be helpful also

I just know it's going to be really hard for me to leave him to come back to work. Iv been wanting to stay at home and my boyfriend wants me to also but I just feel like I still need to do something. So maybe I'll see how the first 6 weeks go and if I feel good about it then I'll watch other kids

I was a first time mom and baby sat the neighbors kids they were four and two it was hard at first but I adjusted quickly I really liked it

This time around I'll be picking up watching kids around 3 months pp so long as everything goes well. And I told my daycare families I would pick up sooner if I felt good enough too.

I do in home daycare. I waited until my guy was about 4-5 months before starting to watch other littles. I definitely recommend a good baby carrier lol.

you would probably want to know your baby schedule first before watching them. but like you said they could be very helpful also. mostly up to you and if you can handle it after awhile.
