Why is it so wrong to whoop your kid the old fashioned way your just asking for drug addicts killers…

.... beating your kids does not mean they wont turn out to be killers or drug addicts. that statement is outrageous.

my daughter will know better because my mom didn't play games with me and I knew that if I mosbehaved bad enough my dad would be getting in it 😖

there's nothing wrong with discipling your children. however, doing so doesn't mean they won't take a path in life that you as a parent wouldn't agree with.

I've seen kids who don't get woopings they run over their parents let Elizabeth do something wrong I don't care if she's 40 years old she'll get that ass wooped my sister never knew what a butt woopings was an she runs over all of us

i'm sorry, but when did i say coddling a child works. what i said was the statement is outrageous to say that disciplining your child will keep them from being killers or drug addicts. i ALSO said there is nothing wrong with disciplining your child. where in there did i say coddling works? just curious as to how u leaped to that conclusion....? @callumsmommy

I've found that some parents believe that whipping with a belt or spanking is violence and that any form of violence on a child is not the way to handle misbehavior. I've seen children raised both ways and turn out wonderfully. I've also seen adults in therapy because their mother/father spanked them with a board and caused deep seeded issues that tagged along with them once they were on their own. Guess it's good we all have our own choices to make as to how to raise our children. I know I sure won't be criticizing someone else's choice when I haven't walked in their shoes.. especially as a first time mother! I'm learning as a I go and will just do the best I can with what I know.

Spanking doesn't prevent drug dealers or crime. I was spanked. I never did anything bad but it isn't because I was spanked. I just have no interest in doing drugs or participating in crime. As a personal opinion though, I will not spank my daughter. I just believe there are other ways to discipline a child. However, if others choose to spank their child, that is fine. We all have different opinions.
