We just found out on Christmas that my fiancés sister is expecting. She's 20 with no job and her boyfriend pays all the bills. I will say I was 20 and didn't have a job either when I got pregnant but his family scolded and lectured me for it and still gets on me for the smallest things, even though I have a full time job to support our three year old and pay my own bills. They were so excited for her to be pregnant and are even more so now that they found out it's a girl. They act much more excited than when I was pregnant with my son. It just breaks my heart to know how negatively they still treat me and to think Hunter might be treated differently now since she's having a girl and she's always been considered the "princess."
It's always been the negatives instead of all I have done to show them and prove differently to them. Now that this is happening, it just makes me feel worse to the point where my fiancé and I have spoke about moving out of state because of all the chaos and arguing that was created from it.
I am so sorry but that is in laws for you. chin up I know it's upsetting.
We are all here to support you. I know it hurts that his family was so negative and is still. It doesn't make it any easier to deal with, but I've come to realize it's always way different when the daughter gets pregnant than when the son "gets someone" pregnant. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this.
I've been around for about 5 years now, her boyfriend for one but yet I'm still the outsider. @rylannsmommy2016
