They recommend breastfeeding until at least a year but it's mostly up to you and baby. If you don't want to stop then don't let others pressure you into stopping

No. the WHO recommends breastfeeding to age 2. whenever YOU and YOUR BABY feel you're ready to stop your breastfeeding journey then you can. Don't ever listen to people when they say you should stop, it's completely up to only you and your child

If you stop at 6 months, you'll be spending money on formula for another at least 6 months. Breast milk or formula is their main source of food until 1 year old.
