Baby's developmentally don't actually realize that they are seperate from their mom until they are around 6 months old, until then they think that you're part of them, that you two are one!!! Fun fact....your baby probably just needs extra comfort, as she becomes aware of what is going on more, she will realize when you're no close or holding her and she will miss your presence! Also, when they go through developmental leaps or growth spurts, they become more needy for a while, and will cluster feed like CRAZY. It may be a bit early for that right now, but just keep an eye out sweetie! When she cluster feeds she may want to be at the breast ALL THE TIME. Lole you just finish an hour long feed and take her off and try to set her down, but then she'll wake up and start crying and giving hunger cues AGAIN. Just go with it, it doesn't last long even though it feels like eternity lol don't freak out and think you're not "satisfying" her, because you are, just she needs extra and is working on increasing your supply!

Also, just to reassure you....you may have a great sleep pattern with her one week, but that can change outta nowhere at any time! Especially the first year, your baby will go through a LOT of change and growth, it's to be expected that they will switch it up on ya a lot!

Personally I think they know more than we give them credit for, I like to think my girl knows who I am...I know she shows a preference for me, but then again if she thinks we're one person still, of course she will prefer me lol I'm her other half 😉
