God, every time my SO's grandmother comes over she gets on my freaking nerves. She's always trying to change or suggest something. She's trying to change my eating habits(for my breastmilk), always asking me if I learned how to cook anything yet. Seriously ? I have an infant. When you find somewhere I can fit cooking class into my schedule you let me know. Then she was trying to say my bassinet should have something in it so Isaiah's head can be lifted because of SIDS. 😐 when I told her it was just flat in there she gave me the weirdest look. now I understand why mothers get so touchy with unsolicited advice. Let me raise my damn child.

elevating the baby's head doesn't help prevent SIDS anyway lol. I would go nuts!

I am going nuts @qmama omg. it was funny also cause she said the bassinet itself should also be lower where the feet are. uhh.. is there even any bassinets out there that do that ? that made no damn sense to me

that would be what's called a Moses basket, and I don't know anyone that puts theirs down on the floor! Moses baskets are basically a bassinet with handles, you can put it wherever. like a travel bassinet lol

I understand exactly how you feel I went through the same thing lol and I put a stop to it she has to respect my decision and desires on how I should raise my baby he is mine after all.
