got mine at 37 weeks

I got mine today. I was sick around 28 weeks and then there were no nurses able to administer it at my last visit. I had to go at a separate time. P.S. you will be sore in that arm.

yes it can protect your baby from getting whooping cough, I got mine around 30 weeks
