Do people think it's unfair if I tell the grandparents who will be around all the time that they are not allowed near the baby for the first two months If they don't get the whooping cough vaccine? I have a feeling my in laws are not happy about my telling them they haveto get it.. Does it make me a bitch for putting my foot down? Am I ODing or is this normal?
I would absolutely make that rule. Don't feel bad for doing it, and let other make you feel bad. You're protecting your baby! In going to do the same thing! :)
Whooping cough is deadly to newborns so I think a vaccination by others should be least of their worries. I'd be devastated if someone gave my baby that
No bc I will do the same if someone is sick they better get away from the baby bc then you have to see the baby sick
I'm in the same boat. except I didnt make people get it with my first baby just because I wasnt aware of all the facts. This time I want to make sure people get it before my little man is here but I feel like I should be able to say it without feeling bad so I havent yet. think I may just ask if thats something theyd be willing to do, if not, then theyll have to wait to be around us.
Yeah I have a feeling eventually shell come around.. I'm thinking of tricking her lol if she doesn't@xonycutiepie try telling her again and tell her how you feel maybe she understand the second time around
@aldensmommy, I feel like back in the day there wasn't like a recent epidemic.. I just don't know why it's such a big deal.. It's fast and it's covered fully by insurance.. Like if a family member was having a baby I wouldn't think twice about getting it I'd say Yea sure of course.. I'm like don't you worry about your grandchild? I don't know.. It pisses me off lol
My mother refused to get it she said back in the day there wasn't anything of that no sense im like yeah but I wanna play it safe she said if I keep asking I can forget about her being around I'm like seriously whatever and hasn't come up again @xonycutiepie I'll have the doctor explain to her about the vaccine
It's your child, who gives a shit what they think.
