DPO is days post ovulation. My period was due Jan2 and I tested NYE and got a faint line. The line didn't get darker until 2 days after my period. Sending you baby dust!!

when I finally got my positive it wasn't untill 5 days after my missed period. then it was clear as day. but I don't normally have a regularly period. it normally bounces a few days

Yes wait a few days before your period or until your missed period. You may have conceived but no test will be able to pick up your levels now. Good luck!!
