Mommies with baby boys, did you have your son circumcised and did insurance cover it?

I did and so happy I did. But mine did cover it I heard a lot of insurances do not but idk my hubby was the decision in that part lol

yes. and yes he is on medicaid

I know this isn't an answer but I thought you said "bad boys" and was wondering why only bad boys should get circumcised 🤔😂

My insurance doesn't cover it, it's considered "elective cosmetic"

I got my son circumsized. IRS better in the long run I babysat a kid who wasn't and he had to get multiple surgeries because of problems.

I didn't want my son circumcised at first but got him done at 6 months. it really is difficult and they can't tell you if there's discomfort or infection, mine didn't have it was just uncomfortable with how to care for it and clean it properly. insurance paid some but 250 sounds about right for what came out of pocket

paid $450 for our son 3 trs ago called to see the price for this one and its $550 and insurance doesn't cover anything n u pay literally right after giving birth

I got my son circumsized. if your husband is I would do the same for your son. you don't want them getting infections later on. it'll hurt them for a little bit. but they won't remember it. you don't want them to look different from their father. then there's alot of questions that'll come from him. my son was circumsized the next morning after being delivered.

@aydensog0423, well if your in a relationship with the father, or the father cares for him. I would have him match him. not everyone does get them circumsized. it's your preference.
