I used it with both of my girls, I walked and drank tons of water. And had no issues with anything. I guess it depends on the person and if you have health issues. But I'm thankful everything went well, I didn't have to poop either during delivery!

Exactly! I would never in a million years try something that could oh yay! help my labor come! but wait there's just one side effect of pain and possible death for your newborn. -_- I don't see how anyone could chance that..

@mommy2be15, yeah! Like it works for some but you also see it go wrong a lot. Like I said everybody's body is different so even though it may have worked for your sis doesn't mean it will give you the same reaction you know?... I would be way too scared to try it😁

I know for a fact that a teaspoon does no harm. if a teaspoon doesn't work, I would go in a different direction. My degree and my experience tells me that.@abella1023,

Agreed. Great idea to post. I've hear so many stories of it causing the baby to poop and it get in their lungs and hurt them or kill them.

My sister did it and it worked perfect for her but I can't believe she didn't look into the consequences first.. I thought it'd be a good Idea until I did the research.

@jjordan86, people take it to go into labor so they probably take too much. Everybody's body is different just because you take a small amount doesn't mean that same small amount will have the same reaction to another woman's body or her baby. Who knows what is the right or wrong amount but when you hear so many horrible stories as a pattern you start to realize is it really worth it?... I wouldn't think so.

I know plenty women who have and I've delivered alot of babies from women who have used it. haven't lost one baby. it's all in how much you use. just because you don't prefer something doesn't mean it's bad for everyone. @abella1023

if you consume a lot then yes it's unsafe. a teaspoon mixed with a drink does no harm.

my nurse even said castor oil is a big no, one lady lost her baby from taking castor oil.
