kinda need some opinions..

my boyfriend and I do love each other a lot we got pregnant pretty much as soon as we met.

thing were really crazy and rough at first then the got great and now its still great but randomly he gets in these moods for a few hours that are his old self and its 100% an abusive relationship. NOT PHYSICAL all mental abuse. but its so rare and its 90% amazing. I love him to death and I can't imagine my life without him. we live together and do so much together. I just need some advice on what to do. I DO NOT want to break up or anything having to do with leaving eachother. I can deal with his attitude. its more like how do I deal with my emotional state being so low when he has his moments. I could handle it before no questions asked but my hormones and depression are making it so much more difficult

if he treats you like this, imagine how he will treat your child. he needs help or you need to leave. if a child sees their mother being emotionally abused, they will think it's acceptable to do or take.

If you 2 are at home and you are being treated in a way you describe as abusive, you should go walk somewhere and spend time alone. Don't stand in the house thinking sad things, change your environment.

@tahtahme, we share a car plus he was at work.. if I don't answer i worry it could make things worse.. sometimes things work and sometimes things don't. I can't really predict how he will react to certain things even though he was fine and calmed down the same way as when he freaked out before. relationships do have lows and ours yes are pretty low but our highs are way more often then the lows

There should be ups and downs in a relationship, but your downs can't be that far down...Have you considered leaving the house for a few hours when he is like that? Giving each other space? Just not responding? If you are already diagnosed with mental disorders, it seems he should know that he is triggering you worse than the average person would be at those times. I think you should have a small bag with a book and journal or adult coloring book and just take it and go get a hot drink and meditate outside or at a coffee shop when he acts this way, so you maintain your own mood and emotional state. BUT I also agree with @mrsdoyle @nicolerawrr and @sophiasmum that it could get worse the more you enable the behavior, and it could make the whole relationship useless and over despite your love for each other. It doesn't sound healthy from what you've said.

im not staying with him because I'm pregnant I'm with him because i love him and its rarely like this. I've tried talking to him about how I feel. I have multiple mental health disorders and he's the type of person to tell a depressed person to just cheer up as if I can snap my fingers and feel better. he grew up not knowing any of that stuff so its hard trying to explain that to him. he's an amazing guy and takes care of me. I'm not an easy person to deal with. I mean I can't work I physically am not able to work. so he pays for all of our bills with no questions asked. he stepped up and is doing everything I could ever imagine. he loves our daughter so much and when he gets in these moods even if he's mad at me he still talks to her through my belly

my partner is the same. we got pregnant 6 months after we met. And hes been the same way but not until our daughter was born. needless to say he didnt change and now were expecting our second. weve been together three and a half years but i just had the courage to walk away. i love him to death. hes my best friend. but he's a lousy partner.you just have to know when enough is enough and i hope for you its not three years down the road <3 much luck to you

my hubby and I started kinda the same I mean we were good friends for a few months before we started dating and I got pregnant 3 weeks into dating... have you tried talking to him and telling him how you feel and why you feel this way? things are only going to get more stressful once the baby comes :/ I know it sounds bad but don't stay with somebody just because you are pregnant or have a baby. no relationship should be consider abusive, physically or mentally.

if he's doing it now. itll just get worse. and then chances are he'll be the same way towards your child. I know you love him and want to be with him but think about what's best for your child.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
