it's basically like that on the chart above with all diapers, but some brands fit differently on different children. For example, a size 4 in Luvs brand doesn't fit my child, but Parent's choice does, and they have the same "weight scale" on their boxes. So sometimes you just have to see for yourself what fits.
And to answer your question my baby was born 8lbs 8oz, and she didn't wear nb for long, they got kinda tight real fast. So I'd say yes, but not for long. @destiny.m
