what's a good amount to start with and who has the best deals on them? do you use a diaper service to have them washed?

@lun2016, I wash them myself now because we moved but I would totally recommend diaper service if it's available to you that is so the way to go. if you choose to do it at home I started with two dozen diapers and 8 diaper covers. I have to do my diapered once or twice a week. I prefer flip diaper brand and I order from Cottonbabies.com they usually have sales.
