I am 38 weeks and 5 days. My labor has been starting and stopping for days now, and I've been in early stage labor for close to a week. I'm dilated to 1 and 60% effaced, had my membranes slightly stripped, and lost a big mucas plug yesterday. I want to have my baby... Anyone, anyone at all have any info good experience or bad, with castor oil?? I am doing a natural labor and delivery, no epidural, and if walking and sex doesn't do it today I'm wanting to take the 1 oz of castor oil, do you think it will be okay since I've already been starting and stopping labor?? And will I be able to do this without an epidural if I take it?? Please only comment if you have an experience using it, I have the internet I can read horror stories there about it if I want to.
