Ladies... would you join the military after your babies first birthday to provide a better life for them even though you know there's a possibility it could be a year or more till you see them again?

Nope and I went through ROTC in HS and college so my heart is there but baby is more important to me to leave them. Jmo

My child's father said i should because it was something i wanted to do. but i don't think i could leave my baby i think i would really lose it in boot camp @rgaine

Yeah, that's really tough. Maybe if the child was older but honestly, I had a recruiter tell me once that I was too educated and should just finish school instead. I sometimes wish I would have gone but definitely not after a baby and when I look back I realize college was the much better choice for me- if that's an option for you.

(The too educated comment was because I was 4 yrs into a 5 yr degree and they couldn't promise officer school.)

ahhh well military was an option for i can get my certifications faster for cyber networking but school has always been an option... Idk I'll probably do school anyways military isn't the same as it use to be.
