Weekend is over! Back to work for me! I'm a teacher at a private preschool. I was planning working until my doc told me to take leave. My fiancé wants me to quit in a few months.
Where do you work and when do you think is best to take maternity leave?

Is your maternity paid for!? Mine isn't. 😔
I only work for spending money too and I have really good benefits because I work for the university of Kentucky. I'm taking 12 wks off for maternity leave
@ella1007 see I like the money I get for me lol I don't have to work but I love having spending money! I guess it's until the doc tells me or I may go on how I feel. I'm on my feet a lot.
I basically rest my baby on their heads lol I only have 5 more wks of work though
@ella1007 lol I can only imagine! Mine is being on the floor with the children and getting back up! That's going to be the death of me!!!
I work in dentistry and it's getting tricky to work on patients but I'm gonna try to work until 38 wks
Maternity leave
Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier
You couldn't find a babysitter?!
Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyw...
Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I stopped five days before my due date with my first ( she was two weeks late) and I'm stopping five days before with this one
