Did anyone get booked in for a growth scan? Baby is lying transverse and low so struggled to get a…

I did - bump was measuring small but on the scan turned out the baby was in the 90th percentile (big for his age) all depends on the position they are lying in when you get measured so try not to worry too much - midwifes like to double check everything :) x good luck x

Oh gosh I hope so!! It just makes you wonder doesn't it, she is transverse so midwife did say that's probably why. But got to wait a week for my scan :-( thanks Hun @jellybean77

The position the baby is in can throw measurements right off. If bubs is in transverse then no wonder you may be measuring a bit small :) I had a growth scan on Friday as I was measuring a week ahead! First time I have been sent for one even though previously I have measured 2 weeks behind and over a week ahead. Anyway got to the scan and bubs is in the 90%-95% percentile. So big yes. I wouldn't worry. Sometimes people have small babies. Only concern really is if growth slows down or there's no change in growth. If bubs on scan is measuring small then they may monitor you.( So you may have fortnightly scans) @demi_leigh xx

I don't get all the % percentile things. Midwife briefly explained and I'm so new to it all it blown my mind ! Haha. Oh I hope she's just being a maddam, the midwife didn't seem too concerned she said as long as her movements are ok then not to worry. But I knew she was laying low because when I walk up the stairs I can feel her etc or when I sit down she's very low. Just needed abit of reassurance 🙈 I don't mind if I get to see her more 😋 thank you!! @winterbaby95

I happened to get my scan the next day which I was surprised by :) Thought I would have to wait longer :) You'll be fine hun, sure she is just teasing you :) Let us know how things go xD :) Xx
