I'm pretty sure the epidural fucked up my back... I'm two weeks pp, and still constantly feeling pain back there. (almost the same lower back pain I felt when I was pregnant) 😩😤 I hope it goes awayyy by 6 weeks pp. 😔

I received an epidural during my labor and delivery. its been 9 months after and my back doesnt really hurt. It did at first, but the pain gradually went away

I have a horrible back myself, which is why I was terrified of the epidural more than the pain of the labor, which led me to having a natural birth...I'm sorry sweetie, I've heard too many friends of mine say this exact thing, two of them say years later their backs are still fucked up...please talk to your doctor about it at your 6 week check up if it still hurts, he may suggest something to ease the pain or even get you physical therapy to help it go away 😔 I'm so glad I didn't get it because my back is really bad, I don't need to make it worse!!! I've thrown out my back 3 times since having my daughter 4.5 months ago, all from picking her up outta bed 😢 I know it hurts while breastfeeding because of awkward positions and weight distribution, one tip I'll give you with that is to have lots of pillows at the ready while feeding her, stack them behind you to give lots of support in your lower back region, and lean back with a pillow (the Boppi breastfeeding pillows work great!) underneath your baby to hold her wieght, and your arm will just be there to support her head and keep her close....it still hurts if you're in this position for a long time, but it gives you more time this way before it gets bad!

(This is my position now, the Boppi just kinda holds her wieght so I don't have to, and the pillows all behind me add extra support so I'm not holding myself up anywhere....the more you have to use your back muscles, the worse it will hurt, so keep that in mind!)
