I'm new to this but hopefully this is how I ask a question.

Are there any mommies out there who can help me? I've been diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, if you don't know it's basically severe morning sickness. I haven't been able to work nor have I gained any weight, I actually weigh less than I did before getting pregnant.

Anyway my question is does anyone have any tips or magical cures (one can hope lol) for HG? Also, I'm 26 weeks.

I was diagnosed with hyperemesis as well. it was horrible! I couldn't work nor could I keep anything down. I lost weight at a rapid pace and I was extremely dehydrated. my ob decided to put me on a pump since I couldn't keep oral medications down and the suppositories didn't help. I had to wear the pump 24/7 for about 2-3 months but it was worth it! when j could come off of the pump I still had oral medications incase I needed them and just watched what I ate. there are several things that I have had to cut out because they would still make me sick. preggie pops didn't help me. hot tea helped a bit most of the time. ginger and peppermint help settle the stomach. they told me that water on an empty stomach is the worst thing to do because of the way it mixes with stomach acid its like a volcano.

I was taking daily/every-other-day hospital trips in the beginning but I forced myself to stop going. They kept sending me home even when my OB called & told them to give me IV fluids, they'd refuse & send me home anyway.

I was told B6 & Unisom. I took that once & a half hour later & the rest of that night I was throwing up. I've been throwing up blood for weeks now too. OB says my baby sounds & seems good though. As long as she's okay I'll be toughing it out.

I had it so bad I had to be admitted to the hospital a couple times... I tried everything from phenergan to Zofran and Nothing helped until my doctor recommended taking unisom (tabs) with vitamin b6 every night and that finally helped... I was also told to stop taking my prenatal since that made it a lot worse. I know it's bad... I couldn't even keep water down... throwing up 20-30 times a day. I still throw up once or twice a day but it's better than 20-30.

@seeyore, ugh I totally hear you with the medicine!!! I've been 100% drug free this pregnancy except my vitamins. I hope you're getting enough food for you cause that baby girl will suck every bit of it outta you for herself lol

Peppermints helped in the beginning but now they also trigger it. ):

My morning sickness is so bad that (sorry for image) I can't even keep my own saliva down let alone sip water. ): Yes, my OB prescribed Zofran, however I didn't like the possible side affects so I waited until after most of my daughters major organs & such developed. But I only took it for a few days before it started triggering me to throw up. She then prescribed Compazine & the same thing happened. I haven't asked for anything new since because I'm worried about what it could do to my baby girl.

I don't have that but when I was nauseous I got preggie pops those helped and any foods you notice set it off obviously avoid drink and eat slower and since you can't help the throwing up maybe try eating things like soups that are easier to come back up :( feel better mama! I'm sure you already knew all this though lol but I tried!!!

Short Luteal Phase?

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
