My daughter was born at 33 weeks and only spent 2 weeks in the nicu to learn how to eat.
My sister was born at 32 weeks 17 years ago. So technology is better now for sure!! I'm sure baby will be wonderful at 35 weeks!! Maybe a few issues that will be easily fixed rite up but no long term harm at 35 weeks I don't believe :) I have heard of people getting sent home rite away at 34 weeks. Just depends on how ready baby is to come home! Hope this eases your mind :)
most likely. but probably just to make sure the lungs are okay and functioning well enough. I know some girls who gave birth at 34 weeks and the baby was in nicu overnight and was able to go home. just depends on the baby's progress and how comfortable the hospital is with discharging the baby

I looked online and it says 32-33 weeks have a 95% survival rate. anything above it is close to a newborn babys survival rate. of course you want them to stay in as long as possible but their chances are extremely high. They will most likely have to be in the nicu
My daughter didn't have to be. I guess it all just depends on how baby does during the assessment after birth. As long as they are doing good on breathing and have good reflexes I don't see why they would make baby go to nicu.

35 weeks is still considered preemie but obviously not as crazy as baby being born at like 30 weeks. I believe 36 weeks is considered full term too so that kinda gives you an idea of things being a little bit better lol

So I know that In the Latino culture you’re suppose to wait the 6 weeks (quarentena) to be able to have sex again. I’m currently at 5 weeks and I cheated and had sex last night! It had been too long! Did any of u do it before the 6 weeks?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
We had to have an emergency csection...my baby was born at 26 weeks at 1lb 12.9ounces...please keep our baby girl Charli in ur prayers!!
The steroid shots can definitely help. My 29 weeker was only on oxygen for 3 days. I had 3 rounds of the shots. Every baby is different. I'm on a preemie page where 36 week babies (anything under 37 weeks is preemie) are on oxygen or this or that. It really depends on the baby. I saw 39 weekers in the nicu too. =\
