Really not feeling the fact that my MIL & bf are drilling me about breastfeeding for a freaking…

@gabbii, exactly. they're reasoning is "ITS GOOD FOR THE BABY!" like.. I fucking know the benefits of Breast feeding that's why I started it in the first place. and if I decide to stop breastfeeding, its not because I want any less for MY daughter its because I no longer can or won't be able to keep up with breast feeding. its just ridiculous my SO agrees with everything his mom fucking says

I know how you feel. Thanks to the holidays and not being able to nurse and pump like needed I dried up. And it's like everytime someone in my family asks how BF going and I tell them they look beyond disappointed like I choose to dry up. Like no.

@kksmommy12, exactly. they don't get it! its not our choice ): and how long did you go without nursing and pumping for when your supply got cut

3 days. I was also having to supplement because I wasn't pumping enough and wasn't able to keep up :/ . Just keep positive, your her mommy for a reason. They will just have to get over it regardless of the choices you decide.

@kksmommy12, thanks babe. you're right. its just they're gonna put me on a guilt trip if god forbid she ever gets sick after I stop breastfeeding 😔

Your welcome! Us free minded moma's gotta stick together! Lol God forbid yes but it's still a possibility before you would even stop breast feeding. Some things can't be avoided.

@kksmommy12, I agree babe. and its totally wrong that my own bf can't be supportive and is making me feel FORCED to breastfeed for a whole year when I'm telling him - that's not possible

Your right. Maybe talking to him and telling you it's putting more stress on you which we eventually cause you to dry up if the stress gets bad enough. He's supposed to support you. He's mother is important but he has he own little family now he needs to concentrate on.

My husband used to be the same way, his mother is very used of getting her way with everyone. But once she tried to tell us where we were having our baby and who was gonna be my dr. He put his foot down and she backed off thankfully.

@kksmommy12, aww thanks hun. I feel like calling my own mom and venting to her tonight cus I'm holding so much in right now.. I agree with what you said tho. and my bf is too small minded to even think about how hard breast feeding is! its not something every mom CAN or would do... sighs. thanks tho for your advice, I hope it works out for me and my bf x

:( that's a real shame your, we moms do absolutely everything we can until we can't, I see your updates you are doing everything already. Your SO should be hopping to your side of and supporting you not his Mother.
