So my last OB appointment I got checked to see if I was dialated at all and at the time I was 39 weeks, and zero dialation. My Very last 40 week OB appointment is this Wednesday at 2:30 to see again if I'm dialated at all and I don't think I am but just this past week on Thursday I lost my mucus plug, idk if that means I'm dialated at all what so ever. If not I'm scheduled at 7a.m on the 21st to get induced. Does anyone have any way or words to keep me calm because I'm freaking out over here. The last thing I wanted was to be induced because I heard it hurts so much more worse then having your water break and on top of that I'm getting an epidural... Just need some advice or some thoughtful words to kinda ease my worries

I lost my mucus plug 2 weeks ago and nothing yet it can always grow back sometimes it means nothing

I've been induced 3 times. I don't think it made any difference in pain. I never had an epidural.

I went over due two days and didn't get induced. 5 days prior to my actual due date I was only dilated at 1cm. with no loss of mucus plug. I think honestly since you've lost it you'll probably go naturally soon. go walking! I spent the whole day walking on my due date and ended up having contractions the next morning.

My bff started dialiating after she lost her plug and delivered 4 days later naturally

Being induced never hurt me. They break your water for you, you won't feel it :) as far as an epidural, not pleasant but they are not to bad either. I'm sure you will do great dear :-D

That's a few days away u never know u could b cooking dinner or laying in bed & bam labor any min it could come & it's going 2 b fast & ur baby is going 2 b healthy as can b not 10 lbs healthy but uk u what I mean

Losing your mucus plug you have to be at least 1cm is what I was told

Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile…

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

And my due date is Monday😣 my fiance was able to get maternity leave for work and it starts on Tuesday. I have a dr appointment on monday and my dr told me that if I'm dialated more than a 1 she will induce me that week. But if im not she is going to wait until my 41 weeks. & my fiance has to go back to work that day... So if I'm not dialated any or baby doesn't just come naturally my fiance won't be there... I'm starting to get really sad and depressed about this whole thing... idk what to do posted this earlier but I need some advice.

So my next ob appointment I'll be 10 weeks and 4 days.. do you think my ob will use the Doppler to get the baby's heart beat or is it too early? ( I didn't go to the ob with my son till I was 10 weeks and I got an ultrasound that day and my annual and then went back a month later and that was basically my first actual prenatal visit so I was like 14 weeks with him)
