After I had my daughter in September, at my 6 week post partum check up I got on the birth control pill. Well it made me bleed for 2 and a half months straight. So I quit taking it and am wanting to try the implanon implant. Has anyone had the implanon ? How has it worked for you ?

I have the mirena this is my 2nd time getting it and I've never had any problems with it I did bleed for 2 months but after that it stopped and my periods are super light and only last for 4 days. I haven't gained no weight or nothing and u don't gotta remember to take a pill everyday. I personally think its great if u can get pass the 2 months
My friend got mirena and her iud actually fell out days after she got it, we both were scared for her! Im just going back to pills because they were way better with fewer side effects..not to mention I have this implant and still got pregnant. I miscarried in december at 9 weeks and had the implant since may
@kadenceislove, Omg wow ! Well I guess that one is a no go. I'm so scared to get the mirena or anything because I've heard about it implanting in your uterus and causeing infertility issues. So idk what to do about birth control or what to get. :(
I have the implant & it is horrible. Imagine bleeding 2 months straight then two week later you're bleeding AGAIN!!! Then the headaches, WEIGHT GAIN, the stomach aches, morning sickness, mood swings too omg!!! Its crazy, im getting mine removed as soon as possible
there 2 there's one that last for 5 years and another that last for 10 years if you decided you want another baby before then you can get it removed and have a baby the next day and its nothing compared to having a kid lol
