When did you all start dilating? I went for my first check last week and I'm not dilating at all. Dr also said that I have a narrow birth canal and she doesn't think I will be able to birth anything bigger than 7-7.5 lbs. she's not one to induce or schedule sections unless medically necessary. She scheduled me an extra ultrasound on the 20th to check his size and position. I'm so nervous now!
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
Had my cervix checked (at hospital) on Sunday 1cm dilated.... go today my doc says I’m not dilated at all . Ummmmmmmmm 🤷🏾♀️
Doctors appointment in the am🏥. He'll be checking to see if I'm dilated at all. Kinda nervous but I hope I am!
I have an appt to check my baby's growth and check my cervix today. I'm at risk for preterm labor and was wondering when they check my cervix through ultrasound if they can see if I'm dilated or anything like that?
Any 1st time moms who had a c-section? My due date is Wednesday. At my Dr appt today, my Dr said I'm not dilated at all. My baby has been measuring big all along, and my Dr now estimates he is about 9.5lbs and doesn't think I can deliver him naturally... so she scheduled me for a c-section on Thursday. This is my 1st baby, and I really don't know how to feel about it all.
I'm just worried that I won't dilated and if I do, won't be able to deliver. So stressful
