I read a story about a mom who was convinced by family members that castor oil wouldn't hurt her baby so she tried it and her baby got the diarrhea too which got in her lungs and gave her an infection. She died a couple days later from it :( I don't know if that's a true story but I'm not risking trying it especially after reading that.

not to mention. that shit acts like a laxative. no way would I even consider that shit. my boyfriend's 17 year old sister suggested it and I literally slapped that bitch in the side of her face with a book and told her to mind her own business before she causes me to lose my kid.

@carlyann00, my cousin Jennifer did that. Camiyha (the baby) is in NICU, born at 34 weeks, measuring 31. I didn't share this to scare anybody, but it's just a fact that it can go REALLY badly.

No offense, but the fact she did that shit at 34 weeks is screwed up in itself, I hate when people recommend castor oil. A child life is definitely not something to play around with like that. Glad baby is doing okay and I pray she continues to get better!

@kmunoz, I'm NEVER offended by truth. That poor little baby deserved a better start than she received. I love my cousin but this was the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Camiyha could have died. 😔 Every time Jennifer cries, I leave the room. It's hard for me to offer comfort when she CHOSE THIS.

Honestly the fact the baby was 34 weeks upsets me the most. Who decides that "oh 34 weeks is long enough" 😑 people can't have babies and you have those who decide to be selfish like that. Let that baby grow! 😳 I'm sure she'll be just fine and be a beautiful healthy little girl. My brother ingested his poop to (they didn't get him out within 24 hours of my moms water breaking) but he was in the ICU for a long time.. couldn't eat on his own nothing and he's perfect health wise lol

@kmunoz, that's what hurts the most. 34 weeks, measuring 31. And she KNEW the baby was small for gestational age. She wanted her born on the father's birthday. My uncle asked her, now what if she DIED on his day?!

I'm sorry you and your family have to go through all of this 😳 hopefully it's a wake up call and she makes better choices for her daughter.
