So I am looking for some advice. So I'm 19 I turn 20 in a few months and my boyfriend and I love together and lately he's been saying he wants a child. I always try to play it off and change the subject an I wrong bc I want to wait until I go back to college and graduate before I want to have children...?

you're not wrong. I started college at 17 I got married at 18, had my son at 19, and now I'm 20 and about to go into the military and the hardest thing in the world is knowing I'm leaving my child behind for a few months to do all this. its way easier without a child. they are a blessing but almost any young mom would tell you they wish they could have kept their youth a little longer and got to be a child just a little more. you're being smart! embrace your gut feeling always! hope this helps

Yes, she couldn't have said it better!! Babies are a blessing and I couldn't love my son more but I got pregnant at 19 & had him at 20 (current age) and I wish I would've waited. Not only because I miss my youth but because I wish I could have myself a little more grounded in life and finding myself so I can give him the world !!

I had a baby went back to college and still waitinf ti get married. if your not in a stage where your ready that's perfectly fine. just be honest with him and tell him how you feel

No, you're not wrong! Go to college first, it's so much easier! I wanted to finish school, buy my own house, and then travel overseas alone first.... So I did! I'm now pregnant with my first and I don't have as many worries about stability as some mommies since I waited later. It's a nice feeling!
