Has anyone on here had gestational diabetes? I got tested early in pregnancy and I didn't have it. when I went back the doctor said I had gained weight quickly and wanted to recheck me. I'm slightly scared cause some of my family has diabetes and I don't want it to turn into anything after the baby is born.

I had it and was diagnosed later on and the best thing to do is get a good diet going, because I was the same way I had gained 18lbs super fast; after finding out I was on a strict diet and I was able to keep it totally under control. And by strict diet I mean strict I only gained 22lbs my whole pregnancy.
the only time I've ever had problems with my sugar was before I got pregnant if I did a lot of work without eating I would get Shakey so I'm hoping since that's the only problem it won't happen. but at the same time I've always been overweight
I was diagnosed early in my pregnancy. I had low sugar before pregnancy but it was controlled with metformin. I am now on a different pill twice a day and I have to monitor my diet and check my sugar 5 times a day. I'm praying it's just during pregnancy!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
