I hate when you're talking to someone about your baby and they say "I bet you appreciate your mom a lot more now huh" because for one my mom passed away during my first trimester of my last pregnancy so I don't like stuff like that brought up and two I've always appreciated my mom to the fullest. having a child just gave me insight to what she had to deal with (except she had 4) but it didn't change my appreciation for her because my mom has always been my hero I've seen how strong she was and how she faced her battles even when she had bad days she pushed for better she always made sure her kids were taken care of. She was the greatest mom someone could ask for but she was also my best friend If I could be half the mom my mom was I'd be winning.
