My husband does the same thing. sometimes even in Spanish...then he will talk about things that dont make since or I would wake him up to eat and he will eat and go back to sleep. then wake up saying "I had the funniest dream, that I eating this" and I would telling "yes, you ate that....I woke you up". now our daughter has started talking in her sleep like him and I'm like great....

sounds like my husband when he worked in the oilfield he would literally work in his sleep all I could do was laugh

It's was so funny! He was sleep talking and so I waited then woke him up again and he asked if I woke him up earlier and I said ya why? and he kinda giggled and said what did I tell you? and I started laughing and told him and he said that's what I thought! 😂
