if you've miscarried multiple times. when would you announce you're pregnancy?? I'm anxious if I carry past first term.…

I have 3 older children. its like a whole new world when you experience a miscarriage. I annonced as soon as I knew with each of them. I feel like after its confirmed tomorrow (knock on wood) I can go ahead and tell certain people. I'm still going to wait to announce it to the "public" . look but I know once I tell one person. it'll spread fast. :/

@mommybear0809, i felt that way too so everything makes me wonder and i was so nervous at first. I have a 3 year old but it is still new to me. i understand what you are going through. Keep positive thoughts often, I know that it is not easy doing that but do everything you can to keep your body healthy and be stress free.

@lo3 miscarriages? so do I!! I felt like I never really showed. probably because I miscarried at 12 weeks. I didn't tell many but I'm starting to poke and people are starting to ask. I'm impatiently waiting to confirm I'm still carrying at 13 weeks. then I think I'm going to just tell the ones that ask. but a0ll I keep thinking is "maybe. if its not dead"

i had 3 before this baby. i am 19 weeks now...yay lol honestly, I didnt tell anyone unless they asked when i would come around. I started showing fast so at 2 months people thought i was 4

I had a miscarriage las April. We waited 16 weeks to start telling some people I'm 18 weeks and most people still don't know I'm pregnant

yeah. I'm thinking 12 weeks is the safe zone. I mean certainly you can miscarry at any point. but I kind of want to be a little excited and announce if in fact it is good news

I'm torn. the last few times I didn't say anything. I don't even know why. I just didn't and I miscarried. but this time. I'm debating on announcing at the mark I lost my other two. or waiting til I know the sex. I'm starting to show and people keep asking I've been pushing it off. I'm kind of excited.but trying not to get my hopes up in case of a repeat :/

Whenever you feel comfortable. Maybe after your next OB appointment. I used my ultrasound photos as part of the announcement. I got pregnant 3 cycles after my miscarriage so I waited until I saw baby to announce. Usually people wait until they're out of the first trimester to announce after w miscarriage.

I think it depends on your personal preference. People have started to change their mind about things like this. Telling people, even though there is a risk of loss, allowed them a support system they otherwise wouldn't have had. It depends on if you want/need support IF something happens or if you prefer to deal with it more intimately.

yeah that why I didn't mention before. but I lost both babies at 12 weeks. I go soon Monday for my 12 week check up. how long do I wait?

I would wait, honestly. Nothing worse than announcing a pregnancy and then having to tell people that you lost the baby.
