You can usually exchange boxes anywhere as long as their not open. So whatever you don't use you can switch out

From my personal experience, my first one was almost 8lbs and I went through a box and a half of newborn diapers before I went to size 1. And shortly after she had size 2. Maybe you can exchange a box of 1's for newborn?

I bought all size 1 bc the newborn said up to 10 lbs and the size one said 8-14 lbs so I'm pretty sure she will be close to 8 when she's born I will get 2 when she needs them

Depends on the size of the diapers. You can never have enough wipes tho.
