mommas I'm 2cm dilated and 80% effaced. I was having contractions all night last night but they weren't consistent or too painful. when would be a good time to go to the hospital to get checked and see if I can stay there? I'm scared I won't notice the signs and I'll dilate too far because that happened to my aunt

Always call or go up there if the pain is too much though!!! They are there to help and check on you :)
I think contractions are supposed to be 4 minutes apart for active labor. But I think they will admit you with 5-6 minutes apart, if constant
