Hey guys! I have a question.
My son turned a year old on January 4th and he's weighting in at 23lbs. I guess the average is 36lbs so now I'm getting crap for it from my family. He's perfectly healthy, he eats all organic foods plus Enfagrow Gentlease and I'm just now switching him to whole milk.
Any suggestions on what I should do? Should I tell them to shut up?lol Or try and fatten my kid? & if so, how?

mine will be one Wednesday :'( and is under 20 pounds. I'm not worried about it. he's just petite.

lol! Okay! I was gonna say my son is 9 weeks and 13lbs! I think as long as your pediatrician says he is healthy and he is happy then who cares what the scale says. He will grow on his own schedule! My son is in the 95% for size and looks like a 4 month old and wears some 6 month old clothing but his father is 6'4 so it's genetics. Happy baby is all that matters!

@kschneider6, see that's how I feel. But because I'm a young mom and my sis in law has 3 kids and my cousin raised his siblings I'm doing everything wrong

all babies grow differently I wouldn't be worried as long as he continues to grow. you're his mom not them ;-) it's the same in my family. I'm always wrong and can't do anything right.

is he gaining weight slowly and he is healthy, eating, sleeping and pooping fine then tell your family to hush! I have one that is smaller than his twin but he's perfectly healthy so the doc isn't worried about it so I'm not.

My daughter is almost 15 months and only ways 21 pounds. Babies doctor says she is fine. I wouldn't worry!
