I know most insurance companies cover the cost of a new breast pump but will Medicaid? as long as I got a prescription or prior authorization from my doctor? how do I go about doing this? I've never done it before. this is my 3rd but 2nd time having Medicaid and with my 2nd, James, I got a manual hand pump from WIC and loved it and hope an actual pump with help with work when I go back :) in July. I'm due April 15th aka the day the titanic sank and tax day and her big brother's 5th birthday :). thanks in advance :)

Some states offer it, but it looks like it varies from state to state. I would just contact your medicaid office and ask them.
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.
Does anyone have medicaid from Texas and got approved for the breast pump?
