*Rant!* You think out of all people my husband would understand how I feel. I'm 39 weeks and nothing is happening and…

I keep feeling like I'll go over but hoping he'll come any day :/ almost 39 weeks

@keithallen, yesterday marked 39 weeks for me and at my doctors appointment Thursday he said nothing was happening yet and I wasn't even starting to dilate... 😩

Damn, I hit 39 Monday.. My Drs wouldn't check me so I went to the hospital they said all that happened is in 1cm dialated that's it.. When's your next appointment?

@keithallen, the day before my due date so this upcoming Thursday.

If you still aren't dialated are they going to induce you? Or do a membrane sweep? Sounds like you may make it to your due date but only little one knows if he or she will be ready beforehand

@keithallen, last time he said that if there still isn't any change or not much progress then we'll discuss induction dates

Ok. To me I feel like you'll at least make it to your due date, but could be because I'm in the same situation and feel the same way.... Everybody thought I was going to go into labor before Christmas or before the new year..then after December everyone said it would be my moms birthday (which is today....) I feel like these people are insane because I feel like nothing is happening lol

@keithallen, I know exactly how you feel! My husbands family kept saying I was going to go into labor before new years too. My mom is the only one who believes I'll make it to my due date so she's the only one keeping my semi sane.

Well my biological mom and I don't talk much, and my stepmom just keeps saying I've got plenty of time before my due date....I don't think she realizes very few people actually have their kids on their due date lol. Maybe it's because she went over and had to be induced with my brother..but seriously....he could come at any time lol. I don't wanna put stuff off because he could be here any moment

@keithallen, yeah my mom was induced with both me and my sister, she swears that is why her labors were so quick. She told me that it'll be quick for me too if I have to be induced but I see a lot of other ladies on here who have been induced and were still in labor for long periods of times... I just hope if I have to be it'll be as quick as my mom's. I'm ready for him to come anytime now too... it's getting so hard to do normal every day things.

My aunt was induced and 3 days later still nothing so they waited another week and induced her again

I'm hoping the night of, I'm due the 18th and really praying he comes either in the next few days or the 19th lol

@keithallen, I'm due Friday the 15th and I'm hoping he comes any time between the 14th and 18th lol. That way my sister won't be mad if he didn't come while she had off work lol.

Lol well I was praying I got past yesterday that's my moms birthday. My cousins birthday is the 12th my stepmom creepy ex stepdads birthday is the 15th and so is my cousin sherris and my crazy uncles birthday is the 18th. The reason I'm hoping he is born the 19th if he makes it till the 18th is my great grandmas birthday and my moms ex's son (still consider him my brother) both their birthdays is the 19th. I'm totally not against him coming the next few days though it's driving me insane lol. Do you feel like you're getting close? Because I don't feel like I am at all.. And my friend that's due on the 16th, someone just posted on her Facebook that she's having back labor and all this baby's almost here talk and I feel like I'm nowhere near having him.. So since you're due around the same time as us I'm kinda curious is you feel like yours is coming soon? Because I feel like nothing at all has changed :/

@keithallen, wow you have a lot of January bdays lol! I get days where I'll have really strong cramps in the morning but then they go away. On Saturday I had really bad cramping for a while but then it went away, I feel a lot of pressure down below and it's hard to walk but that's really it. Nothing is really consistent which is kind of a bummer... 😕 so I really dont know what's going on with me. I'm hoping the cramping I get now and then is the opening of my cervix and at my next appointment he'll tell me something new.

Yea that's about the same here except I've had a lot of contractions that are actually constant for a few weeks now..slowly getting stronger and stronger and a little more painful but still tolerable

@keithallen, looks like you're getting a bit closer than I am lol. you'll make it to your due date at that rate. lol it would be funny if you and I went into labor the same day :) what are you having?

Aww yay. My friend that's due 2 days before me (16th) may be having her son tonight........according to her Drs. She's having a boy too 😂

@keithallen, so many boys lately it's crazy, makes me wonder why lol

Well my other friend had a boy in July, my boyfriends cousin has a 3 month old girl, and my cousin is having a girl. So yea boys are kinda winning 😂 no updates on my friend that's in L&D now, apparently while she was getting her epidural the fire alarm went off lol.

@keithallen, oh geez.... if getting a needle stuck in your back isn't enough to give someone anxiety... the alarm going off at the same time is bound to give them a heart attack haha. I'm not getting the epidural I'm going for a natural birth, less anxiety is better for me and baby

I'm hoping for a natural birth as well, but I mean if I need it I need it lol. And yea I bet lol. I saw someone tagged on her fb that they had stepped out so she could get it and the fire alarm went off and firefighters came in, no explanation as to what happened though. My friend commented on her status but still hasn't given any updates just saying thank you...ugh I'm so impatient 😭

@keithallen, lol I bet. The thing is though, if you try to go as long as you can without the epidural then by the time you give in (if you do) it could be time to just start pushing so might as well wait it out instead of waiting on an epidural... depends on how long till you can't take it anymore though...

Yea hopefully it will be tolerable enough 😁 and my friend officials had her baby this morning. And I'm over here not feeling like anythings happening any time soon lol
