I'm going to breastfeed my baby when I deliver, is it as hard as I heard?

@carmanbaby, it's harder for some more than others. I found it to be a lot more difficult at first then I imagined! I recommend contacting your local La Leche League on Facebook to find out when they have local meeting. I did and I started to go to meetings toward the end of my pregnancy (so I'd be prepared for common difficulties and how to deal with them) and they really helped me, especially when my son had trouble latching in the beginning... we're now 12 weeks in and doing great! It can still be hard at times don't get me wrong, but to me it's worth it.. anytime I want to give up I Google "benefits of breastfeeding" to remind myself of all the health benefits, not only for him but me as well. Whatever you end up doing, it's your body and your baby, so do what works for you :) Best of luck to you!

It can be. I couldn't breastfeed my first - he was full term. I'm fully breastfeeding my preemie which people say is harder to do. @richiesmama gave awesome advice. There are Facebook pages that offer support as well. I'm s member of BRAS breastfeeding resources and support and the ladies there are super helpful. Best of luck!

I found it very easy but everyone is different. It is a big commitment but it is worth every moment. Still nursing my boy and he will be 2 in April. 😊

Don't worry it's not that hard . Your great mom so u made it! I'm also breastfeeding mom!! My daughter is almost 3 month so I'm glad that I'm feeding my baby breast milk !!!.
