I just told my husband that I don't really like the name we initially chose for our baby. He walked off, and doesn't look too happy. I want so badly to love the name, but it just doesn't sound like something that could grow into adulthood, and that's the most important thing to this k about when choosing a name. If they can carry it all their life and use it professionally. Now I feel like shit for even telling him, and our baby is nameless. I just want to cry.

@lashellg, the name was Gunner. my grandfather has a dog named Gunner and remembering that just turned me off on the idea.

I would have refused the name Gunner myself. A boy has to have a strong name. Just look online together and see what you both like. My son is named after my grandmother and his original name that was chosen is his middle name

I named my son after his dad Carlos but gunner oh no no no lol . there are plenty of other names I'm sure you two will agree on one 😊
