Got the Tdap vaccine today. My arm still hurts :(

@bfelixreyes, mind is just a small dot, but like my whole arm hurts and I'm like tense on the shoulder where I got it :(

Mine got swollen after the first night so don't freak out if you get the same thing after tonight. It's painful 😣 but goes away after a couple of days.

make sure to massage the area on and off to help the medication make its way through the tissue.. also helps when baby gets Thierry first shots

I was told somthing about that shot last apointment that was hoing to be getting it but what is it for? im really not up for geting all this unnecessary crap in my body with my baby inside. Is it needed?

@mummylove, I agree but atleast you should be able to sooth him/her if you start right after shot is given it dosnt hurt near as bad it's when you let it sit too long..

@macy024, it's to protect both mother and baby from whooping cough which can be deadly to infants. I got it because the benefits override the "risk" by risk I mean like the side effects that you could get. My obgyn actually wants to vaccinate everyone that lives in the house with me.
