I would get 2 or 3 of the biggest boxes of size 1 diapers. It will last you over a month and you're going to need an excuse to leave the house anyway

@sev1226, that's the problem. I don't think anyone is planning a baby shower for me so I'm trying to plan it out.

If you're having a baby shower, sometimes people buy them for you. Plus a lot of places will allow you to exchange diapers for the next size as long as the box is unopened

Since he was born I have probably gone through about 3 boxes and he still wears the same size.

I used two boxes maybe.

then i would just buy as you need cause all babies are different and gain differently also.

i would start out with a few. my first son was premie so i went through alot.

I'm not familiar with how fast they grow out of them.

I would get mostly size 1 pampers... I was surprised to find out that's what the size they used at the hospital when my little guy was born. My son is 9 weeks, 13lbs and still wearing size 1... They say they go up to 14lbs but you don't neEd to go up until they're leaking out of their diapers

Don't get a bunch of new norms they don't stay in them long at all

i would get newborn and size one just in case. they have the weight limits on the cases.
