So I'm kinda scared we are the first in either side of the families to have twins. I keep hearing how they tend to come really early. I have a very strenuous job and we have 3 kids and custody of our nephew. Anyone I
with twins or know someone with twins. How early did they come any advice..... Scared and just want them healthy!! They were a surprise and have defied many odds as it is.

My sister had twins, pretty random too. They were about 2 months early I think and like 3 and 4 pounds. They're healthy babies now! They did stay in the hospital for like a month and a half I think though because they needed some help developing their lungs and what not

The nurse at my high risk informed my fiancé they are almost always because of the dad!! He had no smart comebacks for that one lol. @leshea

my friend was high risk and her twins came by c section at 36wks.

@leshea, medically anyone can have twins even if they aren't in the families plus if you look up genetically father's can't pass the twin gene it is completely on the mothers side only. the father can give it to the daughter but the father can not determine twins or.not. we conceived twins due to me going off birth control and my body decides two eggs would be best lol.

@cdgfreeman, I took out my IUD and got pregnant very soon after with twins. The high risk nurse we did our consultation with told us twins normally come from the father. Either way it happened and although a huge shock we are embracing and going on : )

I took a class on genetics I know super boring lol the father can't control the twins because it's the egg thst either splits or your body puts out two. us too. I cried when we found ojt my husband giggled like a school girl.

Lol its so crazy but exciting. Mine are fraternal how about you. And I will just leave that little tid bit in his head lol and let him think this is on him lol. He already thinks I did this on purpose dorm that he is! Exciting but kicking my butt and we already have a housefull!!

mine are also fraternal. boy and girl! my husband liked to try and say he "did" things so well he got me double pregnant. so I was very excited to tell him he had no say in the matter lol

I started having Contractions at around 32 weeks but they put me on terbutaline sulfate and they stayed in till 39
