EXACTLY how I feel...I am like most of these people don't call daily or even weekly, why do they think its cool to come witness this??? The only one whose been there like they should be is my husband.

Oh don't get me wrong @paris824 that's totally fine for them to FEEL that way. But it's just not enough to convince me to allow them in during that crucial bonding moment for dad and I.

My husband only. People keep inviting themselves and I just say they can stay in the waiting room as long as they like. During pushing and delivery, its my husband only!

I agree I feel like its yours and your SO baby so family/friends don't need to be in the delivery room its a private moment to spend with each other:) and everyone should respect that if they don't use those nurses lol

Use your nurses girl Lol. Tell them exactly who you want in there and when you want your visitors to come in. They will gladly redirect all un wanted company Lol. They don't mind trust me.

I'll only be having my fiancé ESPECIALLY since my overbearing mom and sister insist on being there. My fiancé is so calm natured and supportive plus we made this baby together not anyone else!

I'm allowed to have 3 people in the room (if all goes smoothly as planned) I am having my fiance my mom and grandmom in there.....if things go wrong or I need an emergency c section or something along those lines only 1 person is allowed in the room. which at that point will be either my fiance or grandmother.....my fiance prefers my grandmother cause he feel as she will better know what to do considering this is our first child....my mom feels the same way.....that's how my hospital works though

whoever makes you comfortable! in my opinion, I didn't want to share that moment with any family. Plus everyone felt the need to argue about who should be in there, so it was only my best friend and fiancé in there, but this time it'll just be me and my fiancé.

It's your choice. They should respect that. It's a very intimate moment and they shouldn't intefere. They can see your baby afterwards.
