yes, what @kmally said. no solids before 6 months. Also i have read no cereal in a bottle it can be a choking hazard..unless medically necessary for things such as acud reflux.
No solids before 6 months is the current recommendation. Look up more about the "virgin gut".
mix it with formula/breastmilk you can try it in a bowl or bottle whichever baby likes the most, or both ☺ some babies will like the cereal thinner or thicker so how much depends on the baby 👶.
I'm gonna try that she really don't like her milk it just don't taste good no more an I can't change it maybe the rice will satisfy her taster
she may it don't hurt to try put a couple.teaspoons in her bottle and shake it up every baby is different my son loved rice bottles I gave him one a day at night usually he was more satisfied
The gaining part isn't the problem is the feeding part she's got to use to get formula if I added just a little into the bottle would she take it more?
3 months my son was a preemie as well with bad acid reflux it helped him gain weight and helped with his reflux along with the meds he was on for.it
Elizabeth was born premature she has acid reflux really bad she's 3 months didn't know if it was ok
Normally around 6 months I think? With my Angel baby his Dr recommended it around 1 month cus he had acid reflux, & my oldest normal kid is 7 lol but I believe it is 6 months
I started my boys on it right before they turned 4 months old
I started putting a little in my sounds bottle at 2 and a half months but you can start giving it to them straight with a little milk at 3 1/2 to 4 months
don't give your sweet pea rice cereal unless it's organic and whole grain... there's literally nothing great about it. wait til after 6mo and try purees all organics.. a lot is over processed.. but I'm also a little biased bc I'm an organic mom who makes her kids food and does cloth diapers lol
