3 days homemade potato & sweet potato pure for my babyboy. Super easy and fast to make

@tracynangel, me too, its so easy and healthy. I do give him fruit pure from the supermarket when we go out since it doesnt need to fridge or heat up. I wish I could make more and freeze it but I dont like the idea of it when its been in the freezer. It taste wired.

At what age can they eat the whole fruit? I'm going to give him a whole carrot to gnaw on

I LOVE making my sons baby food! I just got 2 butternut squash, a cauliflower head, 2 bags of carrots, some pears and avocados for him yesterday. I'm babysitting today, so tomorrow, or this afternoon is dedicated to baby food making! :) he has brown rice, broccoli and apples in the freezer now. and I got him some black bean pasta yesterday as well. I'm super excited to try that!!

the difference between homemade and store bought! I made carrots. The Beech Nut jar are the ones I made. The Gerber jar is the store bought baby carrots. ingredients listed: carrots, water. The claim to have 1 1/2 carrots in a 4 oz jar. I used 3!!! My son has a gluten allergy... guess what they use as a filler? Wheat and other miscellaneous crap! as soon as I stopped feeding him store bought and started homemade, the eczema triggered by his wheat allergy, cleared right up!!!

@sarahemccormick, yeah I love making homemade food for him. And he really likes it now. At begining took a while to get use it but thank god I didnt give up.

@tracynangel, Im not sure. Ive tried to give him whole banana but he cant eat it like that unless I mash it for him. I actually just "scratch/ripe" it with a spoon and its like pure.

@isaiahjamesmommy, wow look at the difference. Its more color on homemade and looks healthy. My son turned just 8months, and so far Ive made potato,squach,carrot, rice, chicken, pasta, broccoli,avocado pures and ofcourse fruits. Only fruit and berries Im avoiding is strawberries and citrus fruits. I need to introduce him with new veggies. Wow didnt know they add wheat to make it filler.

@maxs_mommy80, my son just turned 8 months yesterday :) I've been afraid to try too many things with him because of the wheat allergy. I tried whole milk yogurt yesterday and he started to break out around his mouth. Benadryl to the rescue! There are loopholes in the law that states that they have to list major allergens and they found it. Having a child with food allergies is tough! He's had: prunes, peas, carrots, summer squash from Memaw and Pawpaws garden, turnips that we grew, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, golden potatoes, brown rice, broccoli, apples, bananas, avocado, turkey, chicken, carrots and oatmeal (Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free.) I also found some organic gluten free puffs and Yogis. Baby Mum-mums are a good snack as well, I use them as an appetizer while I warm up his food.

@tracynangel, Just an idea At 4 or 5 months You can Use this product 'the mesh teether' You can put just about Any veggies or fruit that's Steamed into it Have had friends that use it & really like it 😊
