Funny how friends aren't interested when you're pregnant because you can't go out and 'have fun'. But I bet when my daughters born they'll all be cooing and wanting to meet her🙄

if they are not in the same fase of their life it is hard for them to understand what it all means. mine keep saying we will go out when the baby is born and drink.. I had to explain while breastfeeding still no alcohol. they support me 100% and are lovely but unless you are in that fase or have been it is difficult. cut them some slack they don't mean it badly xx

Totally agree with @felicjuh said your friends are still young they are likely to be on party planet. You will just have to educate them being the first mummy. This brings back memories of having my first child at 19.

I know it's just they've been all 'ooh congratulations, so excited and we'll buy you stuff' and say they'll visit me but never do. I understand they still have their lives but if they arrange to visit I expect them to. I've got friends that have babies and it's been the same for them. As soon as baby is born they'll be around me like flies wanting to fuss over her like a novelty. Members of my family are also like this, even my own grandma😔

It's been the opposite for me. Luckily my friends aren't in to going out so much anymore, so hanging out while I was pregnant was no problem and we carried on like normal. Now baby is out, no one wants to hang out because I have a baby in my arms 24/7. :/
