@hellosweetie, they let me put her to breast, but wont let me feed her. But she refuses to take a bottle from me which is so hard😞

As soon as they let you feed her yourself, it'll get easier! I still don't understand why they won't let you breastfeed her yourself, they have the abiblity to weigh her before and after feeds to see how much she's getting! You should bring that up to your DOCTOR, not a nurse, and see what he or she says. It's is VERY beneficial to the baby to feed at the breast with you. It calms baby down, regulates heat and heartbeat, helps with bonding, and baby feeding directly from the breast actually sends information from baby to you to create antibodies for anything that's wrong with baby and send them back to baby through your milk.....they should know all this and realize how much better it is for the two of you! Heck with preemies in the NICU they encourage breastfeeding and skin to skin, you'd think they'd do the same for you and your angel!!! I'm so sorry you're going through this, I really hope you get to take your girl home soon and get all the beautiful bonding your hearts desire 😍

Ah yes, and just to make you feel. better...she could be refusing bottles from you because she smells the breast milk on you and wants to breastfeed! It doesn't mean she doesn't love you, because TRUST ME, she loves you to pieces! You're her favorite person 💕

@hellosweetie, thats what i was thinking! She is so stinkin cute though when i am feeding her or attempting to. She will just sit there with the bottle in her mouth, eyes closed and smiling.

And thats exactly my conversation with my mom last night, they can weigh her before and after. I am so determined to breastfeed! I will work so hard at it with her, this will work whether its with the hospitals help or not. I waited nine months to do this and it will happen we will be successful with breastfeeding.
