Is monistat suppose to burn and itch when you put it on

Moisture shouldn't make it worse if it by chance is a uti. It'll cure the yeast infection though. When I had mine, I was given pills but I was in high school and not pregnant. I'm not a doctor but from my experience with both a uti and a yeast infection, it sounds more like a yeast infection to me.

It was fine Sunday but Monday me and my so had sex and went to rough and I wasn't too sore to where it burned then the next day or too it started to burn so bad so wasn't sure it was from that or it's a yeast infection or UTI

I talked to them on the phone and I have no discharge

It's been burning when I pee but I don't constantly have to go I'm going to start using that monistat see what that does this doesn't feel like my last UTI but I don't want to take the monistat and make it worse

Does it burn when you use the restroom or have you been peeing a little bit at a time but often? those are bigger signs of a uti. I've had a yeast infection once and from what I remember the discharge is thick and white and it was itchy but didn't burn. Did you actually go to the doctors or just talk on the phone? Doing an exam will tell you what it is. I'd say it's a yeast infection because those are extremely common during pregnancy but the only issue is that some side effects of a uti and a yeast infection are the ones that comes with pregnancy so it's hard to know for sure without an exam.
