my 'baby daddy' has to leave for Navy Basic Training next week and I knew he would be gone 2 months but just found out he could be gone up to 10 months which means not only will he miss the birth but Leo (my unborn son) will be several months old before meeting his dad :(. The dad an I are just friends but I feel bad for my son.

The good thing is that your son will be young enough that it won't really make a difference to him. There's nothing you can do about it and it's not like his father is avoiding him, he doesn't have a choice.

My child's father is going to the navy and will HOPEFULLY be here when the baby is born but we won't know for sure until he picks his job. If you need anyone to talk to I know how you feel.
