Mamas, I have a question. I have a 6 month old who loves to nurse and eat baby food. Today at daycare he ate a whole jar of gerber carrots. This evening when we got home he had a tablespoon or so of gerber beef and a gar of sweet potatoes. Is this normal? He nurses quite a bit. At day care today he had 15oz of breastmilk. After his baby food feast he drained both boobs, possibly 6oz. so he is still getting most of his nutrition from breastmilk.

also try mixing his food with baby rice cereal that will make it thicker and also help him stay fuller longer:)

have you tried those Gerber snacks? they dissolve in their mouth. that might help him stay fuller longer but I would only offer it as a snack
