Where did you register? One of ours is at target & I just found that on their registry app they have a "checklist" option & it will show you what you have on it currently & then will show you important things you might be missing! I thought it was really helpful when I went to edit ours :) other places might do it too!

A few outfits ranging from newborn to 12 months. A set of bottles, cleaning brush, burp rags, newborn diapers, a nice blanket or two, crib (I recommend a transitional one thatcan be switched into a toddler bed), a swing, possibly a bouncer, a stroller that will fit your car seat in it, a nursing pillow if you plan on breastfeeding, nursing bras, baby wipes, baby shampoo/wash, lotion.. Those are some ideas for you.

As a professional registry consultant, the things I notice expectant parents usually miss are travel items like rain covers, car seat toys, and spare butt paste for the diaper bag. It's easy to nail what you need at home, but don't forget about being on the go!
